Knobs

These big rubber knobs are recommended because they bend, rather than break, which means that if you hit something, they won't break off, leaving you unable to shutdown your gas supply. Also, being big and chunky, they are much easier to turn with cold hands and thick gloves. They fit both ScubaPro and MDE valves, but not Apeks ones. (That's OK - Apeks valves are crap and we don't use them anyway).

Manifold

The ScubaPro isolation manifold is preferred because it has a double barrel o-ring design. Unfortunately, the standard knobs are not as good as the Sherwood rubber knobs, so get them changed.
